It does feel good to get back into the swing of things, behind the lens, either for InFocus and hopefully at some point personal. Its nice to just get out into the amazing scenery that North Wales has to offer.
Mental and physical health have to both be looked after by not only yourself, but the people around you, you have to balance work and home life, new challenges can make life interesting, or hard, how you approach these is up to you, the saying goes what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, that is very true in a lot of part of lives.
Our photographers are no strangers to mental health issues, their own, and indeed helping others with their problems sadly it does kind of usually work out that we're ignoring our own health for the benefit of others, that includes physical as well. Times have to change if you want to make sure you're strong enough, Rob has a favorite saying in fact " You cannot be strong for others, if you don't look after yourself first" we have both been quite poorly recently, including hospitalizations, physical and mental drains.
Look after yourself first, make sure you are both physically and mentally at your best, or trying to attain it, then you can be there for others and help them too.
Don't forget your passion, ours is photography, always has been always will be, we love being behind the lens, out away from everything and sometimes everyone, just the mountains, or the sea, where ever is your happy place, make time, save time and look after yourself
